This is about the person who motivated me to make Valentine for a Day. I was talking to her today, and I was asking her what kind of blog I should write, because I'm actually rather without inspiration regarding blogs lately. She said I should write one about her. I thought, fine, why not! Let's go!
Her name is Rea, and she's 20 years of age when I wrote this blog. I've met her on the net actually, and I've known her for quite a few years through those means since then. We exchanged message through social networks, text messages through that nifty technology we call cellphones, chat messages through MSN and even after all that, we have only met in person
once.
And even though our contact has been like this for years, and even though we have only met once, we always seem to keep in touch! We talk about daily matters, general news and stuff that keeps the world busy. There's always something to talk about!
Not only do we talk about those general things, but we also talk about personal things. In this way, she actually helped me out plenty of times, with many things that bothered me. I'm not the kind of person that talks about personal issues and matters, not at all actually, it usually costs me great effort to get stuff like that off my chest. It is strange, that with Rea, I could usually just spill out anything that was bothering me. Perhaps it is the way she reacts when I talk, she's always really kind!
I obviously also listen to her whenever she needs to talk about anything, and try to give her advice and make her feel a little better.
Valentine for a Day was one of the ways I try to make her feel a bit better! She has always been a sweet and kind person to me, it is only fair that she's treated the exact same way, right?
Now, since this post is supposed to be about her (because she suggested I wrote one about her, not sure if she was serious, but I thought it would be funny.)
Rea is a very kind person, I have never experienced any situations in which she wasn't remaining her friendly self. Even when she was not feeling all to happy herself, she remained friendly to others. You don't see that very often, well I sure don't, so I think that's special.
Humour, she has plenty of that stuff, I find myself cracking up and nearly falling of my chair pretty often actually. The occasional random joke, the hilarious way of telling things and simply doing random things. All quite funny! As an example, my nickname is (translated) cookie, because one day she called my mother a cookie jar!
As a side note, she *tjops* a lot. Which seems quite painful actually... ;pCreativity, her imagination and the dreams she describes. She would rather get rid of dreaming, but I'm actually rather fascinated by dreams people dream, including hers. I never remember my dreams, I don't even remember when I have dreamt. She can also draw amazing drawings, I haven't seen a lot of her work, but I love what I've seen!
Intelligence, she's a pretty clever gal! I can talk about anything with here and she always gets what I am talking about. That's awesome, I like clever people and I love talking to clever people. A while back we started talking about Linux, and I discovered that she's actually working on Linux... To me, that's awesome to hear!
Understanding, whatever you tell her, she always seems to try to view things from your perspective. The actually takes in what you are talking about, and then she gives an honest reply.
Crazy, In the Netherlands we have a word for people who are crazy in a fun and good way,
"Prettig gestoord". Well, Rea totally falls under that definition. And that's a positive thing! I am really crazy myself, so I can relate to fun crazy behaviour!
So, overall she is an awesome person. I've known her for quite a few years and I hope that will remain like that for an infinite amount if time! Also, I think we should meet more often!
